The Afterbeat Drum School offers private and group drum and percussion lessons to students of all ages and abilities. Lessons are customized to meet the skill level, interest and learning style of each student. Drum lessons at the Afterbeat teach students an understanding of rhythm, groove, dynamics and independence on the drums. Private lessons are available on an on-going basis. 

Summer Camp 2012 ~ World Rhythms Drumming Exploration!
A weeklong exploration and introduction of world rhythms on hand drums and drum set. We will focus on building a foundation of rhythm using Brazilian, Afro-Cuban, African, and Western music (rock and roll!). Kids will play in a group setting, make their own percussion instrument, and perform live!

Camps run Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-12 p.m., $200. One-week sessions throughout the summer.

>>Ages 7-9 – weeks of June 4 and July 16.

>>Ages 10-12 – weeks of June 11 and July 23.
